Foyle Adventures and Boat Tours launched in 2023, running rib-boat trips on the River Foyle from a base at Foyle Marina on the Waterside. It was set up by two Derry men named in launch coverage as John and Reggie, operating a vessel called The Rachel for guided sightseeing trips of around 30 and 60 minutes, taking in the river's bridges, history and wildlife. The business also offers private charter for parties and events, and runs an on-site cafe, Patricia's Coffee Shop, serving coffee and scones to passengers before and after sailings. Sailings run seasonally rather than year-round, broadly through spring, summer and early autumn, with specific departure times released closer to each season and bookings taken through the operator's Facebook page. It is a small, owner-operated tour business rather than part of a larger boat-tour or leisure operator, and is one of a handful of independent Foyle cruise operators working out of the marina.
