Old Man Staveley's occupies a former painter and decorator's shop close to the Frenchgate Centre and Doncaster railway station. The independent coffee shop serves espresso drinks made with locally sourced beans alongside pastries, cakes and light lunches. It opened recently as one of the newer additions to the town centre's cafe scene.
