Pangolin CraftBeer

Nick Davy opened Pangolin in May 2021, after fifteen years living in Hillsborough and five years working at Walkley Beer Co, taking on a shop unit on the inbound platform at Hillsborough Park tram stop. The single-room bar and bottle shop stocks a constantly changing range of cask and keg craft beer, canned and bottled beers, ciders and alcohol-free options, alongside wines supplied by Kask Wine. Customers can drink on the premises or buy bottles and cans to take away, and the venue hosts regular cheese-and-wine nights and pub quizzes. Davy named the business after the pangolin, an animal he felt deserved wider recognition, with branding by Imogen Wood. It remains a single, independently run site with no connection to any brewery or pub chain.
