Pot enCiel

Pot en Ciel is a paint-your-own ceramics studio run by Agnes Brown in the former chapel at the Bazaar on West Street in Oundle. Visitors choose from more than seventy blank bisque pieces, which change month to month, then paint them at the studio using its brushes, sponges, stencils and silk screens and a range of colours, before the studio glazes and fires the finished work for collection. Sessions run to around two hours and include tea, coffee, soft drinks and biscuits, and the space is set up for adults, groups and parties as well as families. The ground-floor studio is fully accessible. It is an independent, single-site business, one of a cluster of small makers and shops in the converted chapel and yard off Oundle's West Street. Booking a session in advance is recommended, as opening days vary through the year.
