RNR Workshop was set up in 2016 by Leif Bodnarchuk, a guitar technician who had worked professionally since 1995 and toured with acts including Bloc Party and Leonard Cohen's band before settling in Belfast. The single-site workshop operates from the Oh Yeah Music Centre at Gordon Street in the Cathedral Quarter, offering guitar and amplifier repair, setups, fret work and modifications, alongside a small stock of used and vintage instruments. Bodnarchuk works alone, taking on repairs for touring musicians and first-time guitar owners alike. The workshop has no other premises. Its base inside Oh Yeah, a charity supporting Northern Ireland's music industry, places it alongside rehearsal rooms, a recording studio and other music-related tenants, giving the workshop a direct line to the city's gigging and recording musicians.
