Roast Finnieston

Roast has served Argyle Street in Finnieston from the same address, 1299 Argyle Street, since opening in October 2012. The counter turns out a daily roast, carved to order into hot sandwiches, alongside made-to-order deli sandwiches, homemade soups and coffee for the office and residential trade along that stretch of the street. It was one of the independent openings that reshaped Finnieston's food scene through the 2010s and has kept its original single-shop format even as the area around it filled with bars and restaurants. A separate venture, Feist on St Vincent Street, was later opened jointly with another operator under a different name, leaving Roast itself trading from this one Finnieston counter.
