Seven Wells Family Butchers has traded from 8 West Street since the Knight family took over the shop in 2004, naming it after the farm where their beef cattle are reared. Owner Sally Knight sources lamb from a farm in nearby Fotheringhay, with pork and poultry bought from other local producers, and shop manager Chris Jackson has run the day-to-day butchery for around a decade. The counter carries dry-aged beef, handmade sausages, cooked meats and handmade pork pies, all prepared on site rather than bought in. The shop sits among the West Street traders in the centre of Oundle, a short walk from the Market Place, and supplies both household customers and local caterers. Seven Wells has no online shop; custom orders, whole carcasses and Christmas turkeys are taken over the counter or by phone. It has featured in regional food coverage highlighting Northamptonshire butchers who name their farm suppliers directly to customers.
