The CheeseCellar, Allerton

The Cheese Cellar opened in 2024 at 114 Allerton Road in south Liverpool, founded by Mish and Murph as a single neighbourhood cheese shop, wine bar and deli. The shop sells a hand-picked selection of artisan cheeses alongside charcuterie and a curated wine list, put together into boards to take away or eat in. Wine and cheese pairing nights are held regularly and have become popular enough to sell out ahead of time. Opening hours run from Wednesday to Sunday, with shorter afternoon hours midweek and later evening trading on Friday and Saturday. As a single-site business on Allerton Road, the shop is built around the founders' own recommendations, with stock chosen directly by Mish and Murph rather than through a standard distributor range.
