The CorshamGallery

The Corsham Gallery opened on Martingate in January 2022 under resident artist Ali Haynes, who runs the space as a showcase for painters, printmakers and other visual artists working in and around Corsham. Five resident artists exhibit alongside a rotating programme of guest painters and makers; the gallery states it has hosted more than one hundred artists since opening. Exhibitions change regularly rather than presenting a fixed permanent collection, giving visiting artists solo or shared wall space in turn. The gallery sells original paintings, prints and small sculptural works directly to visitors, with prices attached to individual pieces rather than commission-only arrangements. It operates from a single shopfront in the town rather than a chain of branches. The gallery closes on Sundays and Mondays, opening Tuesday to Saturday through the working week.
