Pickwick Brewery revives a name last used in Corsham in the 1920s, when the original brewery founded in 1805 by William and Robert Hulbert ceased production after more than a century of trading. The new brewery opened in 2025 at Lancefield Studios in Pickwick, brewing three core beers, Pickwick Pale Ale, Pickwick Biscuit and Space Oddity IPA, using malted barley from Warminster Maltings and Kveik yeast. Head brewer Ivan describes the approach as balance over hop intensity rather than excess. The tap room pours the house beers alongside a rotating selection from other local producers, and opens Thursday to Sunday. It trades from a single site shared with a pottery studio and café within the same converted building.
