Allington FarmShop

The same family has tenant-farmed Allington Bar Farm on the edge of Chippenham for three generations, opening the farm shop in 1981. An in-house butchery cuts meat reared using traditional British breeds, and a deli counter sells cheese, cured meats and prepared dishes alongside fresh produce and bread and cakes baked on site. The shop stocks beer, cider and wine from more than ten local producers and English vineyards, and builds hampers to order year-round. A cafe serves food from breakfast through afternoon tea, and a garden shop sits alongside the main building. The shop trades seven days a week, with the cafe closed on Mondays.
