Pippa Goode opened The Deli in Boldmere in 2011 as a family-run deli and cafe on Boldmere Road, later restructuring the business as The Deli Social. The counter sells artisan and homemade food alongside a daytime cafe menu of breakfast and lunch dishes, with the same premises also used for private hire and outside catering. Pippa's son has worked alongside her at the shop, keeping day-to-day running within the family rather than bringing in outside management. The deli sits within Boldmere's small parade of independent food shops, a short walk from Sutton Park. It has built a following largely on repeat local custom rather than passing trade, reflected in a long run of positive reviews from Sutton Coldfield regulars. Company records show the business remains active under its current name.
