The studio specialises in conservation-led and archival framing for prints, photographs, textiles and three-dimensional objects, using acid-free mounts, museum glass and reversible fixings so that framed pieces can be safely removed and reframed later without damage. Frames are hand-carved and finished in-house, with options including linen-wrapped mounts, gilding and hand-painted finishes to match a client's existing furniture or artwork rather than a standard catalogue range. Clients bring in anything from family photographs to gallery-bound artworks, and staff advise on glazing choice depending on light exposure and the fragility of the piece. The workshop is open to walk-in customers during the week, though larger commissions are typically discussed by appointment. It remains a single site in Islington, with no other branches.
