The Olde House occupies a 16th-century Grade II listed building on Dunster's High Street, combining a three-room bed and breakfast with Tessa's Tea Room on the same site. Each of the three bedrooms is ensuite, finished with the building's original historic character rather than a standard hotel fit-out. The tea room downstairs serves guests' breakfasts as well as cream teas to passing visitors through the day. The building sits within Dunster's cluster of timber-framed shops, close to Dunster Castle and the village's working watermill. Walkers and cyclists are welcomed, though the property does not take dogs. Parking and Wi-Fi are provided free of charge, and the family who own the building run the bed and breakfast and tea room themselves rather than through outside staff.
