A Wells fixture since the 1970s, when it began as a back-to-basics wholefood store: the Good Earth now runs a vegetarian restaurant, the wholefood shop and the Potager gift room together on Priory Road — more than forty years of continuous trade, independently owned throughout, with Jackie and Jo currently at the helm. The cooking is vegetarian and vegan with gluten-free options, the hours are daytime ones, and Sunday stays closed.
