Shakspeare Glassand Arts

Shakspeare Glass and Arts stands on the banks of the River Parrett in Langport, in a workshop and gallery run by glassblower Will Shakspeare. He has been blowing glass for more than 35 years and set up the Langport studio himself. Glass is generally blown on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, and visitors can watch or book a glass blowing experience to try it themselves. The shop sells his own drinking glasses, bowls, vases, jugs and paperweights, including a remembrance range that turns ashes into keepsake glass, alongside ceramics, jewellery, prints and lampwork made by other craftspeople. It opens Wednesday and Saturday from 11am to 3pm, and Thursday and Friday from 11am to 4pm.
