The Ship Inn occupies a waterfront building on Fisher Street in Broughty Ferry, with records showing a spirit dealer trading on the site from 1847. Current owner Steve Cumming has run the pub as a free house since 2002, serving cask ale alongside a seafood-focused restaurant menu upstairs with views across the Tay estuary toward Fife.
