The Tannochbrae is a five-bedroom guest house on Fife Street in Dufftown, run as an independent family business by James and Louise Creane-Smith. The building is a Victorian villa dating to 1872, recently renovated, with five en-suite rooms sleeping up to around twelve guests in total. Booking is flexible: rooms can be taken on a bed-and-breakfast basis, fully serviced, or as self-catering, and the owners encourage guests to book directly rather than through platforms. Its position in Dufftown puts it within walking distance of the town square and several distilleries, and on the Speyside Way walking route, so it draws whisky visitors and long-distance walkers alike. It is a single-site, owner-run property rather than a hotel group, and operates year-round. Dietary needs and arrival times are arranged directly with the hosts.
