The GlenAllachieDistillery

The GlenAllachie sits between Aberlour and Ben Rinnes, reached by a short turn off the A95, with its warehouses visible from the road. Chivas Brothers sold the site in 2017 to a consortium formed by former BenRiach managing director Billy Walker together with Graham Stevenson and Trisha Savage, both long-serving figures in the Scotch whisky trade, making it one of the few Speyside distilleries still under independent, non-multinational ownership. A 2023 upgrade added a new visitor centre offering three tiers of tour, from a standard distillery walk-through to a warehouse tasting drawn straight from the cask. The shop sells limited editions and distillery-exclusive bottlings not available through general retail, including hand-fill options chosen on the day.
