Wadebridge Bookshop

Wadebridge Bookshop occupies a shopfront at 43 Molesworth Street, the main run of shops through the centre of the town on the River Camel. The front rooms carry new fiction and non-fiction across adult, young adult and children's sections, while a further room at the back is given over entirely to second-hand stock, arranged for browsing rather than quick transactions. Alongside books, the till counter sells cards from small art publishers and local artists, wrapping paper, book tokens and bookmarks. Staff can order from a catalogue of more than thirteen million titles with next-day delivery in most cases, a service the shop uses to compete with online retailers rather than simply stocking what happens to sell. The shop also posts orders worldwide.
