Woodbridge Jewellery Workshop is run by Rick and Maggie, who moved their business to this Grade II listed building on the Thoroughfare in 2014 after 26 years trading in Sudbury. Rick trained through the Sir John Cass School of Art and Allied Trades from 1970, completing a pre-apprentice course and gaining his indentures as a Freeman of the City of London, and has worked as a craftsman jeweller for more than 40 years. All jewellery sold is made by hand on the premises, including bespoke wedding, engagement and eternity rings, bracelets, bangles, cufflinks and earrings, alongside jewellery restoration and repair work. The workshop also runs courses where couples make their own wedding rings under supervision. From January 2026 the shop moved to an appointments-only basis rather than passing trade, reflecting the bespoke, made-to-order nature of the work. The building's listed status and the couple's decades in the trade give the workshop a settled, specialist standing on Woodbridge's main shopping street.
