Airborne Assault

Airborne Assault sits inside the Airspace Hangar at the Imperial War Museum Duxford and traces the Parachute Regiment and Airborne Forces from inception to operations in Afghanistan, and on to 16 Air Assault Brigade Combat Team. Displays cover uniform and equipment, medals and weapons, and one of the many ParaDogs dropped into the battlefield, with historical and contemporary film footage and original sound recordings. October to March 10am to 4pm; March to October until 6pm.
