Bar 1828

Bar 1828 opened in 2021 on Seaham's main high street, a short walk from the harbour. The interior is built from reclaimed timber with a hand-cut wooden sign behind the bar, and the upstairs room holds a second bar, a pool table and a dartboard. Regular free events include karaoke, live music, bingo and quiz nights, and dogs are welcome with treats kept behind the counter.
