Bookshop by the Blackdowns opened on 27 November 2021 at 2 South Street, Wellington, run by Richard and Sue d'Razano, who left teaching careers spanning 36 years to set it up after the pandemic reading boom. The shop stocks a curated range of adult and children's fiction and non-fiction with an emphasis on nature writing, alongside cards and gifts, and hosts events with local authors.
