Blue HareStudios

Blue Hare Studios is a pottery studio run by Hayley Webb, who trained at Somerset College and Plymouth College of Art and began teaching from her back garden. The studio now offers handbuilding and wheel-throwing sessions, family and taster experiences, and group workshops for adults and children, with small class sizes so Webb can give individual attention on the wheel. Clay trimmings and unused material are reclaimed and recycled rather than discarded, a practice Webb built into the studio from the outset. A small on-site gallery displays and sells finished pieces made at the studio, including bowls, mugs and sculptural work. Sessions run for private groups as well as scheduled public classes, and bookings are taken directly by phone or email rather than through a third-party platform.
