Burleigh House

Burleigh House is a six-room guesthouse run by Steve and Julie beneath the rocky headland of the Great Orme, a short walk from Llandudno's north shore. Breakfast is cooked to order in-house rather than served from a buffet, using local produce where possible and covering vegetarian, gluten-free and dairy-free requests as standard rather than as an afterthought. Every room is en suite, and the house takes children over twelve but not pets, keeping the atmosphere quiet. In 2026 Tripadvisor ranked it third-best B&B in the UK and eleventh in the world, a reflection of the personal attention the owners give to returning guests rather than any scale of operation. The house sits close enough to the Great Orme Tramway and the seafront promenade to work as a base for walking the headland without needing a car.
