Brothers Sam and Tom Calverley founded their small-batch brewery in 2013, setting up in a former farm building just off Mill Road in Cambridge. The taproom pours from around a dozen rotating keg and cask lines, drawing on brewing traditions from across the world alongside the brewery's own core range, plus wine, gin and soft drinks for non-beer drinkers. Street-food traders visit on a rotating basis to supply food alongside the drinks, since the taproom itself does not run a kitchen. The building's exposed timber and brick retain traces of its agricultural past, giving the bar a different feel from a purpose-built venue. Trading runs from Tuesday to Saturday, with earlier opening on Saturdays than the rest of the week.
