Paul and Jacky Sutton-Adam opened their cheese shop in a Grade II listed building on All Saints Passage in October 1994, and thirty years later the same two names are on the company's register — a founder-couple constancy the trade press saluted by naming it among Speciality Food's Inspirational Cheese Retailers for 2025. The counter rotates through more than two hundred cheeses, split roughly forty-sixty between British farmhouse and the Continent, with the passage's foot traffic split roughly the same between dons and tourists. Cambridge does venerable institutions at scale; this is one at exactly the right size.
