E. Lee andSons Family Butchers

E. Lee and Sons is a family butcher's shop on The Square in Earls Barton, a village between Northampton and Wellingborough. A butcher's shop has traded from these premises since 1890, and the E. Lee family has run the business since 1944, with owner Ian Lee continuing the trade today. The shop sources British meat directly from local farms and matures it in house, producing handmade sausages, pies and burgers on the premises rather than buying them in. It also offers hog roast and barbecue catering for events, and gives free local delivery within three miles of Earls Barton. The shop opens Monday to Friday from half past seven until half past five, and Saturday mornings until two, closing on Sundays. Custom orders are welcomed alongside the daily counter trade.
