Vitreus Art

Vitreus Art is a working glass studio and gallery at Wakefield Country Courtyard near Potterspury, run by practising stained-glass artists Mike Caddy and Jenny Timms. The pair design and make commissioned windows, wall panels, freestanding sculptures, bespoke mirrors and stained glass with built-in LED lighting, much of it on show and for sale in the gallery. Alongside the making, they teach art and craft courses that run from beginner tasters through to more advanced stained and fused glass techniques, held in the studio on site. The gallery also carries work by other makers and glass artists. It operates from a single rural courtyard unit rather than multiple branches, opening Tuesday to Saturday and on Sunday afternoons, or by appointment. For anyone wanting to try glasswork or commission a piece, it offers direct access to the artists who produce it.
