Stony's Bistroby Kais

Stony's Bistro by Kais serves all-day breakfast, gourmet burgers and a run of Mediterranean plates on Stony Stratford's High Street, trading under the name of its owner, Kais. The menu moves between shakshuka, pan-fried sea bass and prawns on one side and smash burgers and pasta on the other, with handcrafted cakes displayed at the counter. Under current management the bistro reopened with a full refit of both kitchen and menu. It operates seven days a week from nine in the morning until six in the evening, welcoming dogs and families alike, with walk-ins taken alongside table bookings. The dining room stays small enough that the same few staff cover the counter, the coffee machine and the tables through most of the day, giving the service a personal, unhurried feel rather than a fast-turnover chain approach.
