Stony Bakers Artisan Bakery trades from No. 10 High Street, Stony Stratford, having opened under the name Woodstock's Artisan Bakery in 2013, founded by Matthew Lane. The business changed hands in October 2023 and continued trading from the same street under its current name. Bread is made using three ingredients and a bakery starter kept alive for over a decade, with dough left to ferment for 24 hours before baking begins at 4am each day. The range includes brown and multiseed sourdough loaves, rustic bloomers and multiseed rolls, alongside filled doughnuts, sticky buns, brownies, cream pastries and cookies. Everything sold is baked on the premises rather than brought in from elsewhere, and the shop supplies bread to a number of other independent cafes and restaurants in the town. It sits among a run of independent food shops on Stony Stratford's High Street, within the historic core of the former coaching town.
