Great Gelato

Great Gelato opened at Easter 2023 at 47 High Street, Stony Stratford, run in partnership with Jo's Cake Co. by two local business partners trading as Great Gelato Stony Stratford Limited. The shop makes its own gelato on site and serves speciality coffee roasted by Milk and Beans and Barista Culture, alongside Italian-style hot chocolate, focaccia sandwiches, cakes and bakes. Dietary-conscious options include nut-free, egg-free and vegan gelato made with oat milk. The business started trading three days a week before extending its opening hours as trade grew, and now opens six days a week, closed on Sundays. It occupies a high street unit among Stony Stratford's cluster of independent food and drink shops, close to the town's market square. Both directors are listed with Companies House as having significant control of the trading company, confirming single-site, independent ownership rather than part of a franchise or chain.
