George Campbell founded this Edinburgh fishmonger in 1872, and four generations of the family have run it since, from his son Tom through grandson Alastair to great-grandson Iain Campbell, who joined the business in 1977 and now serves as managing director alongside Rachael Campbell. The company relocated its entire operation to Whitefriars Street in Perth in 2005, where it now occupies eight units totalling 8,000 square feet, split between a retail shop and a wholesale division supplying chefs and caterers across Scotland. Fresh and smoked fish sit alongside ready meals and deli goods from other Scottish producers. The business sources direct from suppliers including Kames Fish Farm and has catered the Genesis Scottish Open golf tournament. It marked 150 years of continuous family ownership in 2022.
