Gigrin Farm & RedKite Feeding Centre

A working livestock farm on the edge of Rhayader that has run one of the country's original red kite feeding stations since the early 1990s, when the birds were still a rare sight in Wales. Visitors watch the daily supplementary feeding from a series of hides overlooking the Wye and Elan valleys, with several hundred kites gathering in the colder months, alongside a farm walk and coffee shop.
