Chef Josie Thompson opened this small eatery on Brecon's High Street in September 2022 after training at Westminster Kingsway Chef School and working in Michelin-starred kitchens. The all-day brunch menu changes with the seasons: past dishes have paired celeriac with pear and venison with damsons. Viennoiserie and patisserie are baked fresh each morning, and the daily salad bar draws on produce from local suppliers. The room seats a handful of tables inside a converted High Street shopfront, with a separate private-dining arm run under the same name. It opens Tuesday to Saturday for breakfast and lunch, and Sunday mornings too. Thompson named the business after her daughter, a detail that sets the tone for a place built around family recipes rather than a fixed printed menu.
