Go Slow Espresso opened on Hornsea's Southgate in 2025, run by Alexander Kinsey a short walk from the seafront. The espresso is pulled using beans from Freda Coffee, a Yorkshire roaster, and the counter offers cinnamon rolls and almond croissants baked fresh each morning alongside the coffee. Work by independent artists is displayed on the walls, changing from time to time rather than staying fixed. The shop opens daily from 8am to 5pm, giving early risers and later arrivals the same hours to call in. It sits among several cafés along Southgate but is one of the newest, having only registered as a company in August 2025 shortly before opening its doors to customers in the town.
