Kris Charteris opened this Main Street bar at Easter in 2013, taking over one of Portrush's oldest buildings, the former Majestic Cinema, an art deco two-screen picture house that opened on 7 April 1939 with seating for 792. The basement-level bar now runs chillers of bottled and canned craft beer alongside cider, gin, wine and Irish whiskey, curating a changing selection built around Northern Irish brewers rather than the tied-house ranges found in the town's other pubs. A burger menu covers both lunch and evening service, and the room hosts live acoustic music several nights a week, with a regular Sunday blues session. Charteris holds the freehold directly, keeping the bar independent of any brewery or pub company ownership structure.
