La DolceBolla

La Dolce Bolla is an Italian wine bar and shop tucked into Liston Court, just off Marlow High Street. The focus is Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG, sourced directly from small hillside producers, alongside a wider range of Italian still wines, spirits and beers available both to drink in and to take away. Bottles from the retail shelves can be opened at the bar for a small corkage charge, and the kitchen sends out Italian antipasti, cured meats and cheese boards to accompany them. The single-site business is independently owned and also sells online, and hosts private events for up to around fifty guests. It was named best bar in Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire in the Muddy Stilettos regional awards. The result sits somewhere between an enoteca and a neighbourhood bar, with an unusually deep prosecco list for the area.
