Loose Cannon Brewery has brewed from Unit 6, Suffolk Way, in Abingdon since Will Laithwaite founded the company with a friend, Caleb, in 2010, trading on Abingdon-on-Thames's history as a brewing town with medieval roots. The brewery produces cask and keg ales sold through its own taproom, which expanded into the neighbouring unit to accommodate visitors drinking on site from Thursday to Sunday. A small brewery shop sells bottled and canned beer for takeaway alongside the taproom pours. Loose Cannon operates from this single Abingdon site; the beer is distributed to pubs and bottle shops across Oxfordshire, but the company runs no bars or taprooms elsewhere. Regular tasting events and brewery talks are held in the taproom alongside routine trading hours.
