Richard and Jayne Bailey run Lymm Boutique Rooms from 10 Bridgewater Street, a guest house they registered as a company in April 2018. Rooms include Saddlers View and Eagle View, each fitted with a super king-size bed, en-suite shower, coffee machine, fridge and television rather than a shared bathroom down the corridor. The building sits in the centre of Lymm village, within walking distance of the Cross and the canal rather than out on the bypass. Bookings run directly through the Baileys by phone or email rather than through a franchise reservations system. The couple hold more than a quarter but less than half of the company's shares between them, keeping ownership within the family rather than bringing in outside investors. No restaurant operates on site, so guests eat out in the village.
