The Brewery Tap occupies a converted Victorian post office on Bridgewater Street in Lymm, beside the canal bridge, and serves as the tap for the family-run Lymm Brewing Co, brewed on the same site. Four changing lines usually include a dark beer such as their porter alongside regulars like Lymm Bitter and Bridgewater Blonde, with guest casks from nearby Dunham Massey appearing too. Two rooms make up the interior, one warmed by a wood-burning stove and furnished with armchairs rather than standard pub seating. Locally made pies are sold most days, and the pub hosts live bands weekly plus an open-mic night twice a month. Brewing runs Monday to Friday behind the bar, with the tap room open seven days. The pub has previously been named local CAMRA Pub of the Year.
