McKee's Country Store& Farm Shop

McKee's is a farm shop in the fullest sense — on the McKee family's own working farm outside Newtownards, with five generations behind it. The country store runs its own bakery, butcher and deli alongside the fruit, veg and dairy off the land, and there is a restaurant doing breakfast and lunch. It is the sort of place that has grown from a farm gate into a destination without losing the farm: the produce still comes off the fields around it, and the family still runs it. In a trade where 'farm shop' is often just a name on a shed of bought-in goods, McKee's is the real thing.
