Miele Delicatessen

Miele is an Italian delicatessen and coffee bar on Rotherham's old High Street — continental cheese and salami, proper sandwiches, coffee, and since 2017 a licence for Italian beer and wine to drink in. It is a single independent shop in a South Yorkshire market town that has had a hard few decades on the high street, the kind of small, good business that gives a struggling centre a reason to linger. Not fancy, but genuine: a bit of Italy on a Rotherham corner. Sit in for a coffee and a plate, or take the deli goods home.
