Ochre Gallery& Studio

Ochre Gallery and Studio is the working studio of landscape painter Richard Brinley, now based at Unit 2, Rutherford Hall on the High Street in Gatehouse of Fleet. Visitors can view Brinley's paintings of the Galloway hills and coast, watch work in progress, and buy limited-edition prints, greeting cards and stoneware ceramics. The gallery also stocks work from other local printmakers and ceramicists, plus a changing selection of secondhand and new vinyl records that Brinley buys in as collections. It opens five days a week, with current hours posted on the gallery's Facebook and Google listings rather than fixed year-round times. Commissions for custom landscape paintings are taken directly through the gallery.
