Oink Gallery

Oink Gallery has occupied a shopfront on Victoria Road since 2016, when curator and director Mark Pepperall opened it as a space for original prints, paintings and small sculpture from both emerging and established artists. The stock ranges from limited-edition screenprints to one-off canvases, with regular rotating exhibitions rather than a single fixed hang. Alongside sales, the gallery runs a framing service, working through style, mount colour and glazing options with customers who bring in existing pieces rather than gallery purchases. Staff will talk through an artist's background and print run size before a sale rather than simply process a transaction. Opening hours extend into the evening on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, later than most Old Town shops, to allow people to browse after work.
