Peak Weavers occupies a Grade II listed house on King Street in Leek, built in 1828 for a local mill owner and used as a private dwelling until it began operating as a guest house in 1979. Nick and Emma Bettany took over the single-site business in 1999 and have run it since as a bed and breakfast with an attached forty-cover restaurant. Emma oversees the kitchen, which has previously won a Taste of Staffordshire award and holds an AA Rosette, while the six en-suite bedrooms carry a four-star rating from the AA and the English Tourism Council. The restaurant is open to non-residents as well as overnight guests, in a dining room that retains period features from the building's Georgian origins.
