Porthleven Jewellery Workshop was established in 2013 by husband and wife Paul and Clair Pennington, who have made the harbour village their home for more than a decade. Their shop at St Elvan's Courtyard sells jewellery designed and made on the premises alongside pieces from other independent makers, many featuring textures drawn from the Cornish coastline. Bespoke commissions, repairs, remodelling and wedding ring making are handled in house by the couple and their in-house jeweller. The original workshop across the harbour on Breageside is still used for hands-on classes, including a seven-week beginners' course and one-day ring-making sessions. The business trades as Pennington & Pennington and remains independently owned, with no other branches.
