A local history museum housed in a converted Victorian market hall on Waterloo Road, run by a heritage trust founded in 1985. The collection covers the Somerset coalfield, its railways and the everyday life of mining communities around Radstock and Midsomer Norton. The current building, a grade II listed structure dating from 1897, opened to the public in 1999.
