The Ypres Tower, a 13th-century Scheduled Monument, forms Rye Castle together with the Medieval Garden and Women's Tower; adults £5, under-16s free, open daily except Christmas Day. Down the hill, East Street occupies a 19th-century bottling plant and covers town history and local industry, weekends April to October, free.
